As we start off the new year we want to be sure to include healthy recipes in our daily routines.
These energy bites are great for breakfast or as a snack during the day. They are also great after your exercise routine/walk, or to throw in your bag when you are out running errands.
Cranberry Walnut Granola Bars
2 cups gluten free oats (toast for approx 2 minutes)
1/2 cup finely chipped walnuts
3/4 cup chopped dried cranberries
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 teaspoon vanilla paste
1/2 cup honey
1 teaspoon cinnamon
- Mix all ingredients together
- Press into a 9x9x2 baking pan
- Bake 350 degrees for 20 minutes
- Refrigerate for 1-2 hours. Cut into squares. Enjoy!!
