Job Summary

Nationalhcs is seeking a Business Development Associate to become an integral part of our team! You will gauge sales opportunities and provide extensive customer service to all clients.

Job Summary:
The Business Development Associate will actively research potential healthcare clients and pursue new business relationships (e.g., networking, sourcing, outbound calling, client visits, trade shows, conferences, leveraging existing relationships). This position will obtain client requirements and prepare business development strategies tailored to the targeted client. The Business Development Associate is responsible for revenue generation through new business development activities in healthcare staffing and is accountable for meeting and/or exceeding growth and profit targets. This position may involve travel to develop and maintain new and current client relationships. This position will perform the duties of Talent Acquisition Specialist to assist in the search, vetting, and onboarding process for new and existing client needs. This position understands HIPPA and Nationalhcs confidentiality requirements.

Description of Work

The Business Development Associate will be responsible for bringing in new business, managing existing accounts, and recruiting on all open healthcare professional roles. The Business Development Associate functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies, expand current business, and identify new opportunities within the healthcare staffing marketplace.
  • Identify potential in new account areas.
  • Initiate sales process by building relationships, qualifying potential, and scheduling appointments.
  • Present services to new and existing clients through outbound phone calls, emails, facility visits, and networking activities.
  • Develop sales by making the initial presentation, explaining service enhancements and additions, and introducing new services.
  • Close sales by overcoming objections and preparing contracts/agreements.
  • Build long-lasting successful relationships with the industry-leading companies, agencies, and brands by consistently delivering unsurpassed customer service.
  • Perform duties of Talent Acquisition Specialist by sourcing and recruiting healthcare professional candidates that meet the client company’s needs.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, negotiation, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Support management and administrative staff in assigned project-based work.
  • Prepare activity/results for leadership team meetings.
  • Participate in job fairs and off-site events to create contacts and find experienced healthcare candidates.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal and business networks, and participating in professional organizations.
  • Work closely with the client company contact and potential candidates throughout the hiring process – including identifying qualified candidate, initial candidate presentation and resume submittals, coordinating interviews, addressing and client or candidate concerns, presenting and negotiating offers
  • Source and engage prospective candidates using a variety of search methods including, resume databases, networking sites, business networks, referrals, and utilizing proprietary software.
  • Serve as a liaison between the client and candidate throughout the offer process.

Requirements

Education:
4-year Bachelor’s degree

Experience:
Minimum of 5 years documented healthcare staffing sales experience required
