  • Orientation: 2-days (intake and clinic areas)
  • Scrubs: any color except ALL red or ALL blue (can be a mix of red and blue)

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Description of Work

  • Attend sick calls with the physician to patients
  • Prepare examining room and equipment
  • Examine and assess new patients with illnesses or injuries
  • Refer patients to the emergency room or other healthcare facilities as required
  • Perform emergency procedures as needed and notify the physician of treatment orders
  • Provide guidance, supervise, and monitor nursing care provided by non-licensed HCPs

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Requirements

  • Active/Clear GA nurse licensure
  • Active/Clear BLS (American Heart Association)
  • Successful completion of screening/applicant items (e.g., competency testing, drug screening, background check, physical exam, immunizations)
