Description of Work

  • Direct patient care
  • Complete physical & mental health assessments
  • Develop care plans for patients, helping them be as independent as possible
  • Administer and monitor treatment regimens
  • Observe and report behavioral changes
  • Maintain control of drugs and medication
  • Help patients improve their coping abilities
  • Record all care information concisely, accurately, completely, and in a timely manner
  • Perform other position-related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Completion of a nursing degree from an accredited institution
  • Current/Clear Nurse license valid in the State of North Carolina
  • Minimum 1-year recent hospital experience as a Nurse
  • Direct care experience within the previous year
  • Active/Clear BLS (American Heart Association)
  • Successful completion of screening/application requirements (e.g., competency testing, drug screening, background check)
