Physician/MD, Pediatric Specifics

• Medical Doctor only
• Setting: Health Department, Pediatric Clinic
• Pediatric experience a plus
• Six-month assignment with possible renewal
• Full-time
• Monday thru Friday
• 8:00am-5:00pm

Physician/MD Description of Work

• Provide care to individual patients as needed
• Examine, diagnose, and treat patients and their illnesses or injuries
• Consult with the medical team to ensure an understanding of all medical requirements and restrictions
• Educate patients on better health habits
• Perform tests and exams as needed, including EKGs or X-rays
• Transcribe med orders
• Perform any additional medical-related duties as needed

Physician/MD Requirements

• Active/Clear license to practice medicine in the state of North Carolina
• One-year experience required
• Experience with pediatrics a plus
• Active/Clear DEA
• Active/Clear BLS (American Heart Association)
• Successful completion of screening/application requirements (e.g., competency testing, drug screen, background check, physical exam, immunizations)
