Shifts: 1st shift (0645-1915); 2nd shift (1845-0715); 1030-2300 (12-hour shifts; 36 hours one week, 48 hours following week; Every other weekend; Staff may be required to rotate shifts to meet staffing needs)

Job Summary

Nationalhcs is seeking qualified RNs with ADATC experience to work with patients in a drug/alcohol dependency center in Greenville, NC.

The primary purpose of this position is to perform inpatient treatment and medical stabilization of males with substance use and other co-occurring psychiatric diagnoses, for ongoing community-based treatment and recovery.

Description of Work

  • Develop nursing care plans based on diagnosis
  • Identify patient problems, either medical, safety, or comfort
  • Medication administration (OMNICELL)
  • Independently carry out the nursing process and set up an environment to assist patients in obtaining the maximum level of recovery
  • Work through interdisciplinary collaboration with other disciplines on campus and the community
  • May serve as Charge Nurse, guiding and instructing NAs in policies and procedures as it relates to the Nursing Department, the facility, and patient needs
  • Other duties deemed appropriate to this position

Requirements

  • 1-year Substance Use Rehabilitation work experience
  • Current/Clear NC nurse licensure
  • Current/Clear BLS (American Heart Association)
  • Experience working with electronic medical records, email, and computer literate
  • Successful completion of competency testing, drug screen, background check, physical exam, immunizations, and other agency screening/application requirements
  • Successful completion of other Client screening/application requirements
