8am-5pm
1-hour lunch
Up to 40 hours per week
Must commit to the position expiration date of June 30, 2021. Possible renewal at that time.
Uniform: Basic scrubs
The main role is COVID-19 Cast Investigation work, with a secondary role of COVID-19 Testing work

Description of Work
Contact individuals by telephone who have tested positive for COVID-19 to investigate their exposure to the virus and course of illness
Work on tracing the individual’s steps to determine who the COVID-19 positive individual may have been in contact with
Notify contacts of the COVID-19 positive individual by telephone so that these potentially exposed persons may seek COVID-19 testing
Work at outside drive-through testing sites throughout the county
Wear respirators and all personal protective equipment (PPE) provided by facility when performing testing work
Physically obtain specimens from individuals at testing sites following testing instructions and protocols provided by facility clinical staff
Requirements
Degree from an accredited nursing program
Active/Clear Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of North Carolina
Minimum 1-year work experience
Active/Clear BLS (American Heart Association)
Experience working with electronic medical records, email, and computer literate
Successful completion of competency testing, drug screening, background check, physical exam, immunizations, and other Nationalhcs screening/application requirements
Successful completion of other client/facility screening/application requirements
