  • All shifts available
  • 8-, 10-, 12-hour shifts
  • Full-time
  • 40-hours per week
  • May include rotating weekends
  • Renewable contract assignments

Description of Work

  • Provide bedside and general nursing care (e.g., take and record pulse, blood pressure, respiration, and temperature, apply dressings and bandages, oxygen and aerosol therapy, catheterizations, bladder irrigations)
  • Provide direct nursing care including physical care and emotional support
  • Provide bedside care including feeding, bathing, bed making, ambulation, and oral hygiene
  • Observe patients to detect deviations from normal conditions
  • Participate in performing nursing assessments to identify the strengths and nursing care needs of patients
  • Participate in developing, implementing, and evaluating nursing plans based on nursing assessment
  • Participate in nursing diagnoses
  • Implement nursing components of the master treatment plan
  • Give medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician
  • Document and describe nursing care provided as well as observations and interventions that contribute to the continuity of care
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
  • Assist a physician with special procedures and treatments
  • Perform other related work as required


  • Completion of an Associate of Arts or Associate of Applied Science degree program in a recognized school of nursing
  • Active/Clear license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Missouri
  • Active/Clear license to practice as a Practical Nurse in the state of Missouri
  • Direct care experience within the previous year
  • Ability to follow care plans and/or clinical orders
  • Active/Clear BLS (American Heart Association)
  • Successful completion of competency testing, drug screen, background check, physical exam, immunizations, and other agency screening/application requirements
  • Successful completion of other Client screening/application requirements
